Let’s Talk!!!!

Can you believe it? December 2021 is here, Christmas holidays are approaching, children are getting excited about the gifts that they are anticipating and everyone is looking forward to getting a break from the normal routine. But, before we get to the Christmas holidays, we have to complete our 2nd Nine Weeks assessments and other assessments. December is a very important month of the year. We need to make sure that our children are in attendance –every day – if at all possible. It is a short month but it is relevant, it is busy and so many things happen.

Our children are now involved with participating in programs, activities and realizing a sense of normalcy. Grades PK – 2 nd will provide us with our Christmas Program. I am sure it will be quite entertaining. Giving to others is a perfect opportunity to show support to our school and get into the holiday spirit. It is also a great way to teach children what the true meaning of giving and receiving should be about.

As we prepare for the Christmas holiday, let’s keep in mind how blessed we all have been as we are still alive and healthy. If it is your choice, please get the vaccination and also allow your child to receive it as we continue to fight Covid. This is one way that we can get back to normalcy so that we can rid ourselves of the masks.

Let’s continue to teach our children that this season is more than about “getting all that we want” but, it is also about giving to those who may not receive. We wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing the growth that your child has made from 1st Nine Weeks Benchmark to 2nd Nine Weeks Benchmark and from the beginning of the year to the middle of the year.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
